Can you count to 1000? As a continuation of our app "plus and minus 100" where you practiced with arithmetic with numbers up to 100, we now have an App for you where you can practice counting to 1000. The app includes 22 fun exercises and 3 tests.

The focus of this app is not actually calculate with sums but rather develop a number sense with numbers above 100 ( till 1000). You learn to put the numbers in sequence from small to large. But also listen to the number and typing it on the screen. (Is it 193 or maybe 139?). Then you also learn jumps with different multiples. The goal is that you get a feeling for how the numbers relate to each other and the system of writing down numbers above 100. This is important before you start solving real sums.

The 22 exercises are divided into three topics:

- Listening to the number and type in the correct number.
- Counting with jumps of 1, 5, 10, 20, 40 and 50.
- Put the numbers in the correct order from low to high with similar jumps.

As the app works offline, you can practice without the associated need to be on the Internet.

With this app you reach the following learning objectives:

The exercises in this workbook you will learn to count to 1000. You practice the pronunciation of the numbers and helps you to create a number sense for large numbers. The exercises are a good start to count with numbers from 100 to 1,000.

The app starts with an overview of all the exercises. Then first learn the pronunciation of the numbers. Then you learn the order of the numbers and then count the numbers.

In this exercise, you will learn to put the high numbers in the correct order.

In this exercise, you learn to jump between the numbers in equal increments. eg. in increments of 1, but also in increments of 20,

Although we do not work with sums practice you add in this exercise and subtracting numbers using number line.
